Indication
It is used in Post-operative inflammation.
Side Effects
Discomfort , itching , dry eye , foreign body sensation , epiphora , corneal defect , conjunctival hyperaemia , instillation site burning , headache.
Drug Interactions
Ocular hypotensive agents , cycloplegics .
When not to Use
Hypersensitive to any of the ingredients in the list.
Precaution
Prolonged use of corticosteroids may result in ocular hypertension or glaucoma with damage to the optic nerve, defects in visual acuity and fields of vision, and in posterior subcapsular cataract formation. Steroids should be used with caution in the presence of glaucoma.
