Anti Embolism TED Stockings Easy Care
EasyCare T.E.D. Stockings are hospital-grade anti-embolism stockings designed to promote healthy blood circulation and prevent Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) and edema in bedridden or post-operative patients.
They provide graduated compression, being tightest at the ankle and gradually decreasing up the leg.
Key Features
Graduated Compression:
Clinically proven pressure patterns (e.g., 18mmHg at the ankle, 14mmHg at the calf) aid venous return and push fluids toward the heart.
Breathable Fabric: Soft, skin-friendly material suitable for long-term wear.
Inspection Toe: Open-toe design allows easy access for medical examination of the skin and pedal pulse.
How to Wear and Care
Application: Put them on first thing in the morning before getting out of bed, when swelling is at its minimum. Turn the stocking inside out down to the heel, align it over your foot, and gently roll it up the leg while smoothing out any wrinkles.
Wearing Restrictions:
Do not roll them down while wearing them (this acts as a tourniquet) and avoid crossing your legs.
Washing:
Wash every 2 to 3 days using soap and water; hang to dry. Keep free from oils and ointments, which deteriorate the elastic.
