About
The fluorometholone/tetrahydrozoline fixed combination consists of a less potent corticosteroid and a decongestant. Fluorometholone helps to relieve inflammation. Tetrahydrozoline , a direct acting sympathomimetic or nonselective alpha adrenergic agonist, constricts dilated conjunctival vessels.
Indication
Conjunctivitis , keratitis , inflammatory eye conditions.
Side Effects
Rise in intra-ocular pressure , corneal thinning , cataract , fungal infection.
Drug Interactions
Ritonavir, Cobicistat
When not to Use
Do not use If you are allergic to any of the ingredients in the list.
Precaution
Sit or lie down to instill . Open eye , tilt head back , look at ceiling , instill solution into the eye . Do not blink for 30 seconds.
