No-spa 40 mg tablet is an antispasmodic agent which relieves contractions (spasms) associated with smooth muscles in the abdomen. It selectively inhibits phosphodiesterase-4 (PDE4), due to which the binding of cAMP and PDE4 is averted, thus relaxing the smooth muscles (mainly the gut).
