Triforge Tablets 28S

Triforge tablets are a prescription medication containing a combination of Amlodipine, Valsartan, and Hydrochlorothiazide used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). It helps lower blood pressure to reduce the risk of fatal and nonfatal cardiovascular events, such as strokes and myocardial infarctions. 

Key Uses and Indications:

Hypertension Treatment:

Used for lowering blood pressure in adults.
Add-on Therapy: Used in patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled on any two of the following: calcium channel blockers, angiotensin receptor blockers, or diuretics.

Replacement Therapy:

Used for patients who are already receiving Amlodipine, Valsartan, and Hydrochlorothiazide as individual components and need to simplify their regimen. 

Key Considerations:

Not for Initial Therapy: It is generally not meant for the initial treatment of hypertension.
Dosage: Taken once daily as prescribed by a doctor.

Composition: Contains three active ingredients that work together to relax blood vessels, block vasoconstriction, and remove excess fluid (diuretic effect).
