Flagyl 400 mg tablet is an antibiotic that is used to treat a wide variety of infections. It works by stopping the growth of certain bacteria and parasites. It diffuses into the organism, inhibits protein synthesis by interacting with DNA, and causes a loss of helical DNA structure and strand breakage, which ultimately leads to organism's cell death.
